Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was arrested Feb. 28 after he allegedly chased and shot at Harry Goularte, a 43-year-old man suspected of touching a 4-year-old child inappropriately at a childcare business in San Martin.

Cain Velasquez arraigned on attempted murder charges in relation to Feb. 28 shooting.

This past weekend, the Gilroy resident was honored by his alma mater with an induction into the Pac-12 University’s Hall of Fame.
