San Jose State trainer Scott Shaw was sentenced Tuesday to serve 24 months in federal prison for unlawfully touching female student athletes under the guise of providing medical treatment.
Criminal charges were announced against a man and a woman in Santa Cruz County and three other Californians, as well as owners and executives of medical businesses, physicians and manufacturers of fake COVID-19 vaccination record cards with losses greater than $149 million.
According to the plea agreement, Brooke Campbell Solis of Austin, Tex., acknowledged that she used these privileges to defraud her former employer and embezzle money from the company, which was not identified.
