Armed-to-the-hilt South County resident Alan Viarengo was arrested for sending dozens of threatening letters to Dr. Sara Cody.

The Ben Lomond shooting suspect Steven Carrillo is believed to be a member of a violent right-wing extremist group.

A federal agent involved in the case says he doesn’t believe Robert Alvin Justus Jr.’s claim that he tried to stop the shooting.
