San Jose Police officers were investigating a disturbance in the 6100 block of San Ignacio Avenue when they made contact with an armed man who allegedly shot at them and hit two officers.

Detectives said the illegal drugs manufactured and sold in the Santa Teresa neighborhood by suspect Luis Carrillo-Moyeda, 32, of San Jose, are commonly known as “Tusi,” “2C,” “Pink Cocaine,” “Pantera Rosa,” or “Pink Panther."

San Jose's two City Council incumbents managed to win another four years in office, one in a landslide victory and the other by only a slim margin.
