Cooling centers will be open at the Camden Community Center (3369 Union Ave.). Emma Prusch Farm Park (647 S. King Road) and Roosevelt Community Center (901 E. Santa Clara St.).

Santa Clara County is getting a piece of a national, multibillion-dollar opioid settlement against drug manufacturers, distributors and retailers for their role in creating a state and national crisis. 

As of today, the county of 1.9 millions residents has reported 3,984 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 155 deaths.

The latest death stats signal that Covid-19 was likely spreading through Silicon Valley much earlier than originally thought.
