A public hearing on the proposed skyscraper development takes place at 6pm tonight at Santa Clara City Hall, 1500 Warburton Ave.

The project is still in its initial stages. An environmental impact report still has to be completed and ultimately, the city will have to approve it.

The mega-development by Kylli Inc. aims to create almost 15,000 new jobs and rise 50 stories up on the Santa Clara-San Jose border.
