Despite the movement in the streets, the uprisings at city halls, the chants of Black Lives Matter, we’re still here. 

At a City Hall Thursday, protesters called on San Jose’s elected officials to take a stand against local law enforcement killing people of color.

Unless we change the system that engenders violence by police and against them, we will find ourselves stuck in a bloody cycle that never ends.
