San Jose police are investigating Saturday’s triple shooting that produced the city's 16th homicide of 2021.

The native San Jose transgender woman’s murder has devastated, but not shocked, friends, family and the South Bay drag scene.

The collision was reported about 5pm on April 8 in the 1100 block of South First Street in San Jose.

This marks the city's 14th homicide of the year.

Natalia Smüt, 24, a transgender woman and drag artist from San Jose, was known  for her motivating and creative spirit and captivating performances.
