In the April 10 5pm update, the county Registrar of Voters reported Gabby Chavez-Lopez had widened her lead as vote-counting neared its final total in race dominated the PAC spending.

A sure bet for Team Mahan is Matthew Quevedo, the new mayor’s campaign manager and former council office chief of staff, whose online profile says he’s deputy chief of staff. And Rachel Davis already posted her new job as Mahan’s communications chief, just in time for floods and rains.

The Blossom Valley resident finally confirmed what we all saw coming: he sold his startup and is officially campaigning for City Council.
