With Wednesday’s five-hour board discussion a wrap, the rules are revised and the dates are set for replacing Scott Pham.

On Dec. 4, just a day after officials certified results from last month’s election, Scott Pham submitted his letter of resignation.

The decisions free up hundreds of thousands of dollars to help students during a public health crisis that forces them to learn from home. 

Yet their campaign has been met with resistance while two trustees apparently flipped on the issue, angering proponents of a two-term cap.

A week after Election Day, voter turnout is on track to reach 60 percent while roughly 100,000 ballots remain uncounted.
