Three restaurants have declined to renew their leases in the SoFA Market food hall, and other downtown restaurants have called it quits.

Called Guildhouse, the new lounge will be a “spiritual successor” to AFKgg Gamer Lounge, which closed in 2018.

By the end of last week, 18 independent shops and eateries in the heart of the city had received $1,700 each from fundraising efforts.
