Prosecutors say that Obdulia Banuelos-Esparza of San Jose solicited and accepted up to thousands of dollars each month from the owner of a Bay Area security firm, in exchange for her recommendation that the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds Management Corporation contract with the security company.

The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will vote on a 20-year master agreement with the Fairgrounds Management Corporation.
