Peters' Bakery has done business in East San Jose for nearly 80 years, but a legal dispute between the owner and a worker has turned ugly.

Councilwoman Magdalena Carrasco put to rest rumors of a bid for higher office, announcing that she will not run for the state Assembly in 2016.
