Ash embodies everything a leader should be. He’s never ingenuous, always treating everyone with equal regard. He’s proven to accept responsibility for his actions.
I may not always agree/align with him on policy, but he will NEVER be the type to just forge ahead with his own agenda without asking the opinions of his constituents first.
Did Mr. Kalra check with his constituents before voting against putting Measure B on the ballot? Many think Mr. Kalra did “forge ahead” with his own agenda on this issue. Allowing your constituents to vote on an issue is the most direct way to know their opinion.
Every Council Member is elected by citizens to do what they think is BEST for them. Ash has explained his concerns regarding the legality of this measure, and the cost associated with passing it in its current written form. He does NOT oppose pension reform, he opposes this badly written, illegal ballot measure. It is just that simple.
GOT MY VOTE, AT LEAST HE IS TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ERRORS. AND DOES NOT KISS THE MAYORS RING AND VOTES ON REAL ISSUES BASED ON FACTS, NOT PRESSURE FROM CHUCK.
Based on the charming and charismatic photo accompanying this item, I assume that Mr. Kalra has won the endorsement of the Used Car Salesmen’s Union hands down.

Ash Kalra’s DUI PR Pays Off
> Blair Whitney
I think its kind of funny that a lawyer in a prius got a DUI on an afternoon in downtown.
> Fact Check
It was 1:30 AM when he was pulled over – after drinking for over 8 hours (began at 4:30 pm?)
> Blair Whitney
As far as the criminal matter…he’s young and might learn better over time.
He can still be trusted to spend other people’s money as responsibly as the rest of the council.
