Tuesday, a new City Hall opened, Wednesday, Cisco opened the NASDAQ from San Jose. Lot’s of opening going on. Also opening: the independent investigation into the NorCal Deal.

80 year old skydiver is news we can all use Kevin. Thanks so much for alerting us to this important issue impacting our fair city.
An 80 year old sky-diving is interesting news. This is the fabric of the City and frankly one of the only really interesting pieces of news this week.
Take this test:
When was the last time you heard of an 80 year old sky-diving?
When was the last time you heard about a scandal at City Hall?
At least one of these stories is original…
some sports news to lighten the load, two days after KNBR acted to attack Felipe Alou for being considered about the stupid comments made about players, Bob Feller actually made the same comments on a radio interview.
we want this sport in San Jose??
Hey Hey,
Everybody’s entitled to their opinion about what’s relevant material on this blog. I don’t think I’ll bother with it on Thursdays much anymore.
Mark T- I get uncomfortable when I read “skydiver” and “impacting” in the same message.
Remember back a month or two ago when the Mercury Newsless used to cover what happended in San Jose? Ah, the good old days.
Mal, now that would be news.
No Mr. Rowen we do not want Felipe Alou and is “I didn’t mean to get anyone fired” comments. Keep him and the bumbling Giants in San Francisco and give us the A’s. After all we deserve a first class organization. The Giants fall quite short of that. The comments by a KNBR talk show host were totally out of line and unexceptable but the truth of the matter is that the Giants and Barry Bonds stink.
I would have fired KNBR’s general manager along with everyone else.
However, Mr. DaSilva, you have the Giants organization in San Jose, and they are, at least the San Jose Giants are, doing very well.
I think Ron knowes that as he is there at Muni everyday, as he once said. Problem is, the season ticket holders cannot remember it that way.
