Previous Forecast of Tropical Storm Wrecked by Grand Jury Report
The National Weather Service, which has been closely tracking the violations of good and decent government by the Gonzales administration, has finally been forced to upgrade their forecasts from tropical storm to hurricane. The change over the previous status was caused by “exponentially intensified pressure” by the latest grand jury allegations.
“We usually don’t follow or track political storms,” explained Ed Johnson, the weather service’s Director of Strategic Planning and Policy, “but due to the recent grand jury disclosure of deception, back-room deals, and longshoreman bashing, on top of the already eroded public trust in this administration, we felt compelled to assess the situation as ‘dire’ and give the public a fighting chance to flee while they have a chance.”
Mr. Johnson went on to warn that Hurricane Gonzo, as it has been named, could possibly get worse before it gets better.
Upon hearing the news, Governor Schwarzenegger immediately declared a state of emergency in San Jose and pledged support by ordering the American Red Cross to set up temporary housing for refugees fleeing to Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, and Milpitas.
Several insurance agencies have vowed to step in and file multimillion dollar claims in the name of the citizens of San Jose for the loss of common sense, ethics, and growth and prosperity over the past six years.
In related news, Gonzales majordomo, Joe Guerra, has retained Michael Jackson’s attorney “just in case.”
Couple of things I overheard on my 90 minute/10 mile ride in on lightrail this morning.
– Gonzales first order of business next week will be to order CH workers to form round-the-clock sandbag details around the new CH site.
– NorCal has graciously offered to truck in the sand needed

On a really serious note, I can’t figure out why the other garbage haulers that bid the contract haven’t sued for bid rigging.
This is seems to be much more obvious than the Cisco deal ever was. It can’t escape notice that the City administration is currently withholding upwards of $10m in payments because Norcal may be using too few workers to sort recyclables and thus sending too much “contaminated glass” to CWS to be landfilled. This is after the mayor came thru on the promised additional $12m to cover labor costs.
Gonzales is proud that he saved us from a strike…would that have ever happened if Green Team had retained the contract?
The combined money issues – $12m for union payments and the $10m for not using enough workers to salvage usable glass- may have made the difference in bids more of a question.

Glad to see that someone has upgraded the Mayor’s behavior from bad to worse! We hvae all of the lawyers and juries condemning his behavior but what about the community? I have not heard boo from any of the community or business leaders here. Are they afraid of him? Is anyone else pissed off or is everyone just out sucking up cocktails at Santana Row?
It seems to me Gonzales keeps making one mistake after another. He says he didn’t lie re. the backroom garbage deal well we know he can lie,Just ask his wife!
Who’s taking bets on whether Gonzales will resign?

They should make him a garbage man, that’s really all he is good for in this city. That will probably be his job when he is dumped from office.
Is there anyone left in San Jose who still supports Gonzales? These days everywhere I go the guy is regarded as a joke, or worse.
The Mayor really has nothing to waste, I suspect after his term is up you will see him making big money working for the garbage company. Who could blame him, jobs are hard to come by in San Jose, thanks to the Mayor.
Funny thing that hasn’t been made very public. Gonzo’s dad was a Teamster manager for a number of years.
Are the garbage grabers Teamsters?

I’m off to the beach for my 20th Annual Wine and Swine, Smelt Jump and Tortilla Sailing Competition. This year is truly a celebration because I have managed to stay in business in San Jose.
It saddens me to see us where we are at this point in time as a village. I have had the best laughs while reading this great site. I know we will survive all of this. I will continue to shoe everybody elses horses, cause it seems we ain’t got non. Except for the two that are mounted by Captain Fallon and his side kick, the Cisco Kid.
I want to thank all of the individuals and organizations that have helped in keeping our wonderful little shop going. Some day we’ll look back at all this and laugh! I’m starting today SSSSSUUUeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
