Last month, the city of San Jose released a schedule for May’s community budget meetings. We just got around to publishing it—sorry.
In March, Mayor Sam Liccardo said the city needed “tap brakes” on spending, as another economic recession could be on the way.
The purpose of these meetings—two of which have already occurred—is to inform residents about the city’s fiscal situation and give residents the opportunity to speak to city leaders about their budget priorities.
All San Jose residents are welcome to attend any of the meetings. See the schedule below or view the flyer.
