The San Jose Fire Department has knocked down a two-alarm fire that was first reported at 3:35 a.m. today near Lincoln High School.

Crews were still on the scene at 7am in the area of Wabash Avenue and Forest Avenue, where streets are closed to traffic.

The department asked the public to avoid the area.
