As usual, the Blacksmith has a lot of wisdom in his post. While we hope to move on from this dismal, depressing, and distressful era, it is important that justice be served and those responsible receive fair and swift judgement. It is also critical that the many good people who remained silent for the last eight years, learn that the price of their apathy and fear was an era of “enablement” – I trust that they know who they are. Where there is Hope, there is life.
Where there is faith there is the presence of good will.
For many years there was neither.
That was the real theft!
How can one man be punished for what we accepted as our fate?
Those that made the man, the greedy, the needy, the insane. We made this man.
If he is to be put to the test, then so must we be tested.
If we loose our selves in being vindictive, then we are to forever suffer to repeat our representation of that which we suffered
at the hand of our vote.
The real thiefs are the one’s that made profit of this mans rule and demise. Find those persons and find the desease that afflicts our Village.
To understand that we allowed one figure head to rule, is to know that it is within us to change ourselves.
A new year awaits our participation. Let us confront that which we fear. Let us confront those that ask of us to carry what is not ours.
Let us celibrate that which we are to become in our new beginning.
